SALARY: Up to £30,770 per annum + Excellent Benefits
LOCATION: South West London (SW15)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday only (no weekends), 7am – 4pm
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Demi Chef de Partie who has a thorough understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene practices with excellent time-management, organisational and team working skills.
Working as a Demi Chef de Partie you will be assisting to cook the daily food offering for the staff canteen. This is a high-end hot and cold food provision for staff members.
As a Demi Chef de Partie you will enjoy working within a fast-paced environment, setting up meals for staff, managing products for food preparation and supporting the Senior Chefs.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Demi Chef de Partie will include:
- Follow and execute as directed from the senior chefs
- Help the kitchen team maintaining high level of consistency
- Set up for meals for staff by ensuring proper amounts of mise en place are in place
- Check and maintain fridges, work and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity, and quality of food products
- Understand date labelling and correct rotation of stock
- Requisition food with necessary approvals according to business
- Take proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils, and other equipment
- Ensure that all HACCP principles are adhered too
- Follow all Food safety and Health and safety rules
- Ensure the highest quality of product within cost constraints by managing products for food preparation
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Whilst full training will be given, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene practices at work
- The ability to proactively prioritise needs and effectively manage resources and time
