Departmental Tutor at University of Oxford

Job Description

Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a part-time tutor to teach our short online courses on English Landscape Gardens and The Culture of the English Country House

English Landscape Gardens and The Culture of the English Country House are accredited short online courses running up to three times a year. They are taught asynchronously, with interaction taking place via text-based forums. Tutors’ duties include teaching online, preparing weekly video messages, marking and providing feedback on coursework, as well as dealing with administrative tasks relevant to the course.

This is a part-time (0.27FTE) position, available on a permanent basis.

About you

You will be well-qualified academically with experience of teaching and researching at a university level. Candidates with a background in English local history and/or architectural history are particularly welcome.
