If so, we have a great opportunity to work as a pivotal member of the council’s Finance Department as the Deputy Director of Investment and Infrastructure.As Deputy Director of Investment and Infrastructure, you will have full strategic accounting responsibility for a wide range of activities for the council.The PersonTo succeed in the role, you will need to be creative and able to manage risk, whilst driving continuous improvement across a wide range of areas. You will be working closely with both senior officers and members to ensure the delivery of corporate priorities.The Deputy Director of Investment and Infrastructure will be a resilient, ambitious and open-minded individual who is prepared to challenge others and who ideally will have experience of financial management, planning, income and contracting as well as financial accounts and year-end production.
