If so, I have an exciting opportunity for you.My client is a super hot household name known for pushing boundaries. As they embark on an exciting journey to launch a groundbreaking product, I’m seeking a talented and dynamic Design Director to lead their in house creative team for a 3-month contract. You’ll be on site 3 days a week and the salary is £60k pro rata.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, user needs, and brand objectives.
- Lead the design team in conceptualizing and creating visually stunning and cohesive designs for the new product.
- Provide creative direction, ensuring all design elements align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent aesthetic.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs to meet project requirements.
- Mentor and guide Junior Designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Director or similar role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and expertise in product design.
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, trends, and the ability to translate brand vision into visually compelling designs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.).
- Flexibility to work on-site in London 3 days a week for the duration of the contract.
