If so, we want to hear from you!About the RoleWe are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team in Coventry, focusing on Diesel Powertrain Components. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing components that contribute to the efficiency, performance, and durability of combustion engine systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop components for diesel powertrain systems, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Use CAD tools and engineering analysis to refine designs and optimise performance.
- Work closely with internal and external teams, including suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Apply problem-solving skills to tackle design challenges and improve product performance.
- Manage projects using tools like Confluence and track progress efficiently.
Key Requirements:✔ Degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
✔ Experience in designing components for combustion engine systems.
✔ Proficiency with design and engineering tools such as MS Office, Matlab/Simulink.
✔ Clear thinker and strong communicator, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
