Job description: End Date Tuesday 16 April 2024Salary Range £85,255 – £100,300Agile Working Options Flexibility in when hours are worked, Hybrid Working, Job Share, Reduced HoursJob Description Summary .Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Digital Cyber Security Senior ManagerSALARY: £86,964 to £102,310LOCATION: BristolHOURS: Full-timeWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.About this opportunityThe Engineering lead role will involve line managing engineers, driving our engineering transformation activities, designing and implementing security solutions in compliance with architectural frameworks, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture teams, supporting platforms to build secure solutions and supporting live services.

Join us on our journey and you will too.What you’ll needA positive attitude and ability to effectively work with other engineers within the lab and across other platforms.Ability to architect or experience of architecting solutions to meet key outcomes.Delivering security architectures/strategies as part of a broader enterprise or IS/IT architecture of threat and risk analysis methodologies/techniques and the interpretation/application of their output in the definition of security architectures desired.Understanding of network security, WAF and DDoS mitigation technologies.Understanding of communication protocols, encryption, headers, content security policies and wider cyber security topics.Experience of continuous integration and deployment approaches and technologies.An understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, knowledge of RESTful APIs and Terraform / Infrastructure as codeAble to utilise source code repositories and change management tools, i.e. Git.Knowledge of agile development practices and test automation (Unit/Integration/E2E testing).People Management experience.About working for usOur focus is to ensure we’re inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
