Summary of the role:
As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s digital marketing efforts, including creating and managing content for our website, social media channels, and email campaigns. You will work closely with our team to create engaging, artistic and relevant content that markets our vast products of essential oils, aromatherapy supplies, hair accessories and reading glasses. The successful candidate would ideally have a good understanding of photography and videography, to help capture quality images to be used in retail and ecommerce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that align with the company’s overall ambitions, image, and marketing strategy.
  • Manage and create content for the company’s website, including blog posts, landing pages, and other website pages.
  • Create, photograph, video and manage social media content and campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, taking responsibility for the management of these platforms also.
  • Photograph and video products to support online retail shops and ecommerce to drive online sales
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to promote the company’s services and offerings.
  • Monitor and analyse website and social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and content, and make recommendations to improve the company’s digital marketing efforts.
  • Interpret and follow; latest developments in digital media technologies and trends, marketing briefs and plan, company designed customer standards

Key Skills:

  • A strong passion for digital marketing and an eagerness to learn.
  • A proven track record of growing a brand/person on social media platforms and increasing followers and viewers.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Basic knowledge of website design and development, content management systems, and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Artistic and creative flair.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Is a person with the upmost integrity.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Digital Marketing apprentice is not expected to have undergone any formal training or hold qualifications for this role but some informal learning relevant to the role is essential.
  • Study towards and achieve the Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard
  • Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths or equivalent Grade C/ 4 or above.

Working Hours: Full time
Salary: £12 per hour plus bonus

As a Primary Goal apprentice you will also have access to our online portal that will provide you with information and technical guidance, as well as links to the helpdesk to speak to technicians who can give real-time advice and support.
