Job description: DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE – PERMANENT – NEWCASTLE UNDER LYME – CIRCA £30,000

We are supporting a prestigious organisation in the Newcastle area, with the recruitment of a Digital Marketing Executive. Our client offers high-end, bespoke products within their industry. The role will be responsible for maintaining the company’s digital presence. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.45am to 5pm with one late shift per fortnight. The role itself reports into the Ecommerce Manager and will play a pivotal role in the company’s success. Daily duties will include…

  • Researching and writing engaging social media posts
  • Creating blog content
  • Producing and managing weekly email campaigns and developing new ideas
  • Social media and online chat monitoring
  • Manage daily digital and online tasks
  • Attend planning sessions
  • Daily analytics of online engagement
  • Work with external agencies on paid marketing activities
  • Monthly reporting on activity levels and success
  • Keeping up to date with social media trends
  • Overseeing website updates such as merchandising, product launches and content

The ideal candidate will have previous digital marketing experience. Offline marketing experience would also be beneficial. You will be proficient in social media, have excellent attention to detail have the ability to proofread, therefore excellent spelling and grammar as a must!
