The Opportunity
Version 1 is looking for an experienced digital marketer to drive our online marketing strategy, using new and existing channels to support campaign objectives, generate business leads and build awareness of Version 1’s services. You’ll need to be a digital marketing generalist with a track record of delivering across multiple digital channels. You’ll need to have a flair for the creative as you’ll be responsible for creating engaging content for the website and social media channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including your colleagues in digital, content, design, product, and performance, to ensure the effective execution of digital campaigns that drive business growth.
In this role you will:
- Working with the digital marketing manager, develop and execute digital marketing strategies across various channels, including email, social media, PPC, SEO, display, and mobile.
- Manage the corporate social media accounts and produce creative content to grow followers and enhance the brand’s image.
- Engage with customers and Version 1 employees on social media channels, especially LinkedIn, to boost interactions and increase our reach.
- Update and maintain social media analytics.
- Monitor and optimise PPC campaigns to improve performance, increase ROI, and drive conversions.
- Help drive the development of a new Version 1 web experience by coordinating with the web agency.
- Work with both the content team and external agencies to progress SEO & keyword strategies (including link building) that improve website ranking, traffic, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement content marketing strategies that align with the overall digital marketing plan and identify trends to drive forward in new directions.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, email design, and testing to optimise engagement and conversions.
- Have excellent analytical & reporting skills on key performance metrics, including website traffic, user behaviour, conversion rates, and ROI, with the ability to identify performance issues and how to rectify these.
- Ensure proactive engagement with acquired companies to ensure their digital presence and brand is effectively integrated.
- Have familiarity with tools including, but not limited to, Google Analytics (Universal/GA4), HubSpot, WordPress, Google Search Console, Microsoft Dynamics 365 & SEM Rush.
- Experience with the Adobe suite of creative software including Photoshop would also be a benefit.
Qualifications
Experience / Background
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English
- Excellent understanding of analytics and data interpretation (including Excel skills)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding and experience of working with social channels, particularly Google & LinkedIn
- Innovative and creative thinker with ability to initiate and manage own projects with outstanding execution.
- Eager to learn new things, explore opportunities and find solutions.
- Experience with the creation of digital content including text, images and moving images.
- Experience with WordPress is essential. Some fundamental understanding of HTML is also beneficial.
- Experience of working in a B2B IT, technology, or software-focused environment would be beneficial.
