Working as part of the central Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Laird Connectivity’s digital strategy. The role is responsible for centrally managing Laird Connectivity’s digital channels, developing actionable customer insight, marketing automation/governance and driving marketing effectiveness. The individual will support the execution of the campaigns and content that are developed by the Marketing Managers. Digital channel management includes (but is not limited to) outbound marketing email, social media channels, paid media, marketing automation and lead generation/routing (through Pardot and Salesforce), Google Ads, SEO, SEM and analytics and insight tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimize Laird Connectivity’s marketing automation, and lead nurturing process through email, paid media, content, and social channels. Manage technical aspects of marketing systems such as Pardot and Salesforce integration. Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database and ensure adherence to data privacy laws.
- Establish closed-loop analytics and reporting on marketing KPIs to understand how our marketing activity converts to prospects, marketing qualified leads, and sales qualified leads. Measure the impact of our marketing activities and continually refine and optimize the lead process to maximize ROI. Ensure that leads are followed up appropriately.
- Manage Google Ads and other analytical tools working closely with the web designer maximizing lead generation and SEO optimization in conjunction with web development team.
- Working with marketing management and team, optimize the use of AI techniques, tools, processes and initiatives in digital marketing functions to gain efficiencies and maximize lead generation.
- Manage advertising relationships and plan for external Media Partners in line with the Marketing Managers.
- Manage Laird Connectivity’s email marketing activity including newsletters, ensuring full compliance with General Data Protection Regulation. Monitor Laird Connectivity’s contact database and manage the opt in process for email marketing and promotions.
- Develop Laird Connectivity’s social media strategy managing postings, promotions, campaigns, and optimization in line with Marketing leadership teams.
- Gather customer insight and feedback through survey tools. Measure brand and reputation of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Data and metrics driven experience
- High level of competency and experience in increasing marketing effectiveness through digital channels and marketing automation
- Strong experience implementing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Search engine optimization and online marketing best practices
- Marketing automation experience in Salesforce.com/Pardot required Google Analytics, SEOmoz, SEMrush, and other analytical tools experience
- Demonstrable experience of using social media to meet business objectives
- Requires proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture
- Experience with content management system
- HTML and CSS knowledge
- Basic web layout and design skill
- Experience in Photo Shop, In design, and other creative design tools very useful
- Customer centric with an understanding of developing actionable customer insight
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business or related fieldor equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing
- Familiarity with high-tech environment and/or electronics industries preferred
