Job Description
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead on outbound marketing activities.
This person will work closely with the Head of Global Digital Marketing and will have responsibility for global content (written articles and creative briefs for video and design), paid media, email marketing, social media strategies and execution. It’s key that the person in this role is passionate about the world of both music and digital marketing, has experience running creative campaigns that drive results and has their finger on the pulse of social media, paid media and content trends and changes.
They should have experience working with CRM tools, such as Marketing Cloud and be able to demonstrate proven results in achieving growth / ROI from digital marketing sources.
We’re looking for a strong communicator to work with the territories and understand the needs of each market to create marketing campaigns and ensure the highest standard of digital marketing is achieved. The main aim of this role will be to elevate the global digital footprint while using valuable data provided by the Business Analyst and external agencies (SEO & Paid Media) to measure and improve the impact of UPM’s global content on digital platforms with the aim of raising brand awareness while driving new business leads and revenue.
Responsibilities
Work with the Head of Global Marketing to implement the global content and digital strategy.
Briefing designers and the videographer to create high-impact assets for digital channels.
Manage the digital content and paid media schedule for global social channels (YouTube, Instagram).
Lead on paid performance media campaigns (mainly YouTube and Instagram).
Support and help roll out the company Rebrand in 2023.
Manage the SEO content relationship with our SEO agency.
Manage the email marketing content and schedule with the support of the digital marketing assistant
Interviews with artists/labels/composers to create compelling content stories in editorial and creative form.
Copywriting for social media, websites and occasionally press releases.
Work with labels on new label launches and other new business initiatives.
Meetings with senior leaders and territories to update the global content schedule.
Work closely with the Global Digital Marketing Assistant to help train and grow the individual.
Monitor results of campaigns for continuous improvement.
Manage the global social media platforms with support from the Digital Marketing Assistant.
Stay on top of the latest trends, news in our industry and beyond and incorporate into our marketing plans.
Lead on innovative growth strategies for our channels.
Person Specification
Experience running successful digital marketing campaigns (organic and paid) that drive growth.
Proven track record in a marketing role, ideally in the music, entertainment, production, advertising or marketing industries.
Professional marketing qualification, such as degree or CIM.
Experience working with talent and influencers.
Knowledge of creating content for design and video.
Expert knowledge of Marketing Cloud, GA4, social media and SEO.
Worked in global capacity.
Digital project management experience with ecommerce experience.
Strong analytic skills and data-driven thinking.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Finger on the pulse of social media and influencer trends.
Creative mindset with the ability to brief creatives thoroughly.
Organisational skills are key.
Ability to drive campaigns forward with large global teams.
Results driven.
Confident in presenting to both small and large groups.
