We’ve recently taken on some incredible new clients and need someone who is a content champion to help us continue delivering incredible campaigns, predominantly across social, email and paid digital marketing channels. You’ll have massive amounts of autonomy and there is no ceiling to this role, so you can define your own success.

You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and spend roughly 50% of your time creating the content – making/editing Reels and posts including (captions, clips, gifs, graphics, images, videos). The other 50% of your time will be spent on strategy, campaign planning and scheduling the content. You’ll be working with an array of media, sometimes shooting your own content and other times using stock/in-house libraries and working with our in-house graphic, photography and videography team.
We love impressing our clients, so you’ll need to be properly brilliant at what you do! We’re looking for a social media rockstar who can make an immediate impact to our clients’ social, putting into place fun, engaging and visually creative content. As a brand-new role, you’ll need a strong sense of initiative, enthusiasm and self-management. You’ll be based at our office in Exeter, looking after several clients across multiple sectors with various requirements.

As well as looking after our clients and their marketing, you’ll also be crucial in defining our own marketing success. Regular content contributions, campaign planning and project management will be essential.
Activity summary…
- Developing, implementing and managing social media strategies for our clients
- Creating content across multiple social and digital platforms
- On-site filming and photography to gather content for each of our clients
- Online editing to create and publish videos using apps/software
- Creation and delivery of social media assets, including imagery and video content
- Writing copy for social posts, adverts, email campaigns, press releases and blog posts
- Ensuring brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
- Using your creative flair to help make posts, adverts and campaigns stand out
- Publishing and scheduling content using our social management programs
- Monitoring social media accounts for comments, posts and messages
- Engaging with social audiences via messages, invitations, events and groups
- Creating and managing competitions
- Monitoring engagement and activity
- Producing content for our own in-house marketing campaigns
- Assisting with client reports including KPIs to report on
- Researching brand-enhancing partnerships and collaborations
- Supporting account managers with ongoing client requirements
- Embed clients into our tech stack accordingly – including our project management suite, social media management, plus analytics and reporting platforms.
- Work with the wider team to provide clients with tailored content plans specific to their campaigns and goals.
- Manage client accounts on a day-to-day basis, building and maintaining strong, trusted and meaningful relationships.
- Hold regular meetings with our clients. Ensure they understand exactly what’s happening in their accounts, so they know we’re working to make as much revenue for them as possible, not to make as much money from them as possible.
- Act as an extension of our client’s team – you’ll be expected to know and understand their business in detail.
- Ensure you’re familiar with the latest trends, best practices and procedures to help us stay as current and cutting-edge as possible. Create automated workflows that assist our efficiency.
- Assist with the production of our client reports. Ensure we’re communicating effectively and providing the right information to each client.
Requirements

- Incredibly experienced in Digital Marketing
- Agency experience is desired (but not essential) and around 2+ years experience in Digital Marketing
- Fully self-motivated – we encourage, lead, and support…we don’t micromanage
- Comprehensive understanding of major Digital Marketing elements including SEM, Social Media, SEO, PPC, Email and Content marketing
- Understanding of both B2B and B2C content marketing
- Proficient in the use of social graphic/video editing apps including Capcut, Canva etc
- Full technical understanding of social media platforms
- Tech-savvy. We use a lot of different tools to make our lives as easy as possible – you’ll find these tools easy to use and keep an eye out for new ones
- Knowledge and experience of paid social media advertising
- Previous experience with SEO and/or PPC would be icing on the cake
- Experience in campaign planning, creation, management, scheduling and reporting is essential
- Proven success and understanding of the hospitality industry and luxury brands would be beneficial
- WordPress and MailChimp skills would be an advantage
- An entrepreneurial mindset and you’ll enjoy working autonomously
- Strong listening skills with a keen eye for detail – you’ll be able to read a room and the people in it
- You’ll be super organised and have loads of energy too
- Fast learner, able to absorb and retain knowledge on new businesses, products and markets
- Understanding of email marketing campaigns including communication funnels
- Hunger to learn and progress
- Competent editing and proofreading skills
- Strong project management capability and detail orientation
