Job description: I have a Digital & Social Media Manager role that has just become available at an FMCG retail food business based in Watford. Offering tones of autonomy and lots of creativity, this is a fabulous opportunity for a candidate with prior experience managing social accounts for successful food brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative social media strategies for a range of food brands
  • Working closely with brand managers to build engaging digital content for each brand website
  • Conceptualise and then activate customer initiatives such as campaigns & interactive competitions to promote our brands
  • Day-to-day social media and community management across all channels, increasing followership and developing discussions
  • Reporting and analysis of social media metrics and performance

Skillset required

  • Deep knowledge of individual social platforms and best practice for branding, advertising, and reaching new customer audiences
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, plus additional multimedia editing ability
  • Strategic thinker with sound understanding of analytics and reporting
  • Passionate about food and able to curate an emotional connection between brand and consumer
