Job description: To provide high quality strategic financial advice to support decision making to deliver financial targets of Marketing, and the group more widely. This role will build strong commercial relationships with key stakeholders across the business to maximise growth opportunities and ensure effective use of resources across the function. This role will be part of the Finance Business Partnering team providing support to the Marketing Function, with a focus on strategic analysis and outcomes.

The role provides a high level of visibility to senior stakeholders and the platform to develop a great career at Sage.

Key Responsibilities Summary of your day-to-day?

• Be a trusted business partner by building strong relationships with function heads and their teams.
• Ensure effective support for investment decisions by building robust business cases and tracking and measuring ROI for marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Utilise financial analysis to support and influence key operational and strategic decisions – including marketing effectiveness, funnel efficiency and econometrics based modelling.
• Play a pivotal role in long-term financial planning for marketing, aligning budgets and resources with multi-year strategic objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and ensure compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices.
• Enhance finance capability through effective management and coaching to drive towards a high performing finance team

– Leverage prior experience partnering a Marketing function to bring an understanding of the nuances of marketing strategies and challenges.
– Develop and implement financial strategies that accommodate the global nature of marketing, addressing the unique needs of diverse markets and regions.
