I am working with a secondary school in need of some additional leadership capacity, either from an experienced and highly capable headteacher/principal or deputy headteacher/vice principal. The level of responsibility will be determined by the previous level of experience of the candidate so you will either be working in a head of school role under an executive principal or as an additional vice principal.

The role could start immediately (ideally) or from January until February half term or possibly until the end of the spring term.

Start Date: Immediate start ideally or from January 2024

Length of Assignment: Probably half a term to a term

Rate: Fixed term contract- Salary ranges to be confirmed. Day rate inside IR35 would also be considered.

I am delighted to be working with this 11-19 ASD school in South London as it looks to add capacity to its senior leadership team for an initial period of two terms.

The role requires a Teaching and Learning specialist with assistant, deputy or headteacher experience, ideally in an ASD setting though experience in other SEN settings would also be considered. Key stage 5 expertise would be an advantage.

You will have recent, relevant experience in a similar role. You will be reporting to an excellent Deputy Head (Inclusion) and working alongside a strong SENCO. The role is 5 days a week.
