As the Director of Warehousing and Logistics at LPCH, you will be responsible for the following key accountabilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of a warehousing and logistics strategy that optimises stock levels and performance while minimising costs.
  • Technology Integration: Lead and deliver an efficient and effective warehousing operation by leveraging technology, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Logistics Excellence: Lead and deliver an efficient and effective logistics and transport service to ensure clinical needs are met seamlessly.
  • Health and Safety: Lead best practice health and safety compliance in accordance with regulations and associated clinical requirements across our operations.
  • People Leadership: Lead and drive a department where the performance and potential of people are maximised, adopting a “right people, right time, right place” approach.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Create collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of LPCH.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Extensive experience in leading warehousing and logistics functions, preferably in healthcare or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Proven experience in implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to warehousing and logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on maximising performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in overseeing health and safety in a warehouse and logistics environment, especially within sectors with stringent compliance requirements.
  • Ability to design and implement warehousing and logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.
