Sportradar is a worldwide leader in sports data and audiovisual services for bookmakers. Over the last years Sportradar significantly expanded its range of products & services by establishing , a business division focused on data-driven marketing services designed for betting operators worldwide. Sportradar is now looking to recruit an experienced Sales Director to join the team and drive growth for our Digital Advertising Sales globally.
This role will be responsible for selling marketing solutions to our existing network of sports betting operators as well as other businesses interested in digital marketing solutions. You will be responsible for building up and using your network with advertising partners, primarily sports betting and casino operators.
THE CHALLENGE:
- This role will drive the adoption and growth of Sportradar’s digital marketing service and technology with our largest partners.
- Drive adoption of our ad:s technology across Programmatic and Social channels with senior marketing stakeholders.
- Own and drive the initial sales process for 7-figure deals.
- Manage our ongoing relationships with our largest advertising customers, proactively identifying and selling opportunities to drive greater adoption and utilization of our ad:s product suite.
- Proactively consult and advise on our clients’ digital marketing strategy and tactics.
- Oversee, maintain and grow senior relationships and influence with key client’s marketing leadership teams
- Support and consult internal product teams to optimize the products from a sales perspective and shape the go-to-market narrative
- Define, test and optimize business and pricing models with attractive offerings for key clients or partners and profitability contribution for Sportradar
- Be part of Sportradar’s core global ad:s team, collaborating and sharing best practices as you establish and shape the company’s global advertising strategy
- Actively engage in the sports betting advertising ecosystem, interact with key players, establish key relationships and gain a deep understanding of the setup and needs of all stakeholders
- Represent the division and company externally at events and meetings
- Both domestic and international travel is required for internal and client meetings
Qualifications
- A strong proven experience in delivering digital marketing solutions within the sports betting industry or having worked within a marketing department of a major sportsbook is highly beneficial
- Strong background in sales and marketing, with demonstrated success in establishing new businesses and building long-term relationships with clients
- Expertise and credibility in digital marketing strategy and media planning
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Understanding of ad-facing business models
- Understanding of the sports betting eco-system
- A broad international network of advertising partners, especially from the sports betting industry would be a great plus
- Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel
- Passionate about sports
