Managing a Sustainable Business, delivered on Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA)
Tutors will deliver face to face over 3 days on campus, and online through a minimum of 3 live, recorded webinars over 12 weeks. Tutors also support apprentices via the Learning Management System, guiding them through existing materials as well as through discussion posts/activities and email. Tutors complete marking of 1st attempt and resubmissions.
You will have experience of teaching, ideally including via online delivery, however this is not essential. The module sits within our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) course, and the tutor will need to understand how the CMDA Standard integrates to the module (supported by the course team). As such experience of delivering on apprenticeship courses is desirable.
The module focuses on: Current practices and standards in sustainable business; Corporate social responsibility; Concepts of eco-innovation/efficiency in business; Business strategy.
You will have relevant academic qualifications and a minimum of a full postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject area, along with experience of applying skills, methods and techniques in a learning and teaching environment. You will be IT literate, and student focussed with good communication and interpersonal skills. LMS experience is desirable.
Distance Learning Tutors will be primarily home based, hours will be flexible determined by the number of students supervised. The hourly rate for delivery is £48.07 (including marking). The role would suit someone looking for an additional role/hours or part time work.
The role will start in May 2024.
