Job description: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join a successful construction/engineering company based at their office nr Dudley, West Midlands on a full time basis. The successful Document Controller can expect a competitive salary, friendly working environment and rewarding career.
Document Controller Role/Duties:
- Maintaining records and drawing registers.
- Uploading (and downloading) latest documents and drawings.
- Opening and printing drawings to support the technical team.
- Liaising with external clients, Engineers etc to request information/updated drawings etc..
- Generate and chase as required technical queries as directed by internal engineering team.
Document Controller requirements:
- Experience working as a document controller or similar within an engineering or construction environment is highly advantageous.
- Experience in providing admin support to a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competent user of MS Office ie Excel Word, Outlook etc.
- Ability to multi task.
- Experience using CAD software (if only for simple purposes) such as Autocad is advantageous but NOT essential.
