Salary: £12.20 per hour weekdays, £14.20 per hour weekends plus 45p per mile
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 12 – 30 hours per week, including weekends
Shifts: 6-hour block shifts – mornings and evenings
Location: Travel required – vehicle and driving licence essential
We’re looking to expand our passionate team of domiciliary care workers, also known as Personal Independence Providers.
We specialise in supporting older adults with additional physical needs, ensuring they receive the best possible home care and support. Our customers are a blend of private pay and funded, bringing real variety to your role.
About You
By joining our dynamic team, you’ll build relationships with your customers and evolve the support you provide as their needs develop. This could be anything from providing companionship or personal care, to taking them out into the community for shopping or appointments, to undertaking domestic household activities.
What you’ll be doing as a Domiciliary Care Worker:
- Providing a high standard of care and support to older adults in their own homes
- Offering genuine companionship and building strong working relationships with customers and families to provide peace of mind in relation to their wants and needs
- Empowering and encouraging our customers to maintain their independence and live full and active lives
- Playing a proactive role in developing support plans
What you need as a Domiciliary Care Worker:
- Permanent right to work in the UK – ECL do not provide sponsorship
- A full driving licence and vehicle to travel to customers
- To be passionate about providing a high level of care and support to vulnerable people
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- A proactive approach and to be able to work on your own initiative
- To be able to work flexibly to best support your customers
