Job description: Rexel UK currently have an exciting opportunity for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join the team in our Oban branch. As a Driver /Warehouse Operative for Rexel, you will provide an efficient and professional delivery service to customers as well as facilitating the inward movements of stock and prepare the outward movement to fulfil customers’ orders.
The Person
To be a Driver/Warehouse Operative for Rexel, you will need:
- To be customer focussed
- To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail
- A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure
- An ability to embrace change and new technologies
- Experience within a multi-product warehouse environment (ideally)
- Previous multi-drop experience in a 3.5 tonne van (ideally)
- Computer literate and basic IT skills
Due to insurance purposes all Drivers within Rexel must:
- Be aged 21 & above
- Have held a license for minimum of 12 months
- Have a maximum of 3 points on driving license and no prior disqualifications of driving
The Driver/Warehouse Operative role is a FIXED TERM 6 MONTH CONTRACT MONDAY – FRIDAY and we offer a pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
