Job description: Driver Hire are currently recruiting for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in Bracknell. Our client is a production rigging specialist and works with several high profile outlets.
Duties for the successful applicant will be as follows:
- Driving to and from suppliers and studios in London and surrounding areas.
- Frequency of driving within the role depends on the number of jobs going out and this could be several times a day or once a week.
Other duties will include:
- Loading and offloading rigging equipment at the warehouse on to transport trucks.
- Picking rigging equipment for jobs.
- Putting away rigging equipment from jobs.
- Maintenance of rigging equipment ie painting.
- Counting and checking stock.
- General warehouse duties
This is Permanent position, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Salary on offer for this role:
- £24,000 per annum with the potential of paid overtime when required.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- A valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6points (no DR, DD or IN offence codes)
- Attainable references in a commercial driving capacity.
