Job description: PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Ecommerce and Marketplace Analyst based remotely anywhere in the UK. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPortwest will continue to grow and develop the brand presence on an increasing number of Marketplaces around the world via B2B relationships or a 3rd party company. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Ecommerce and Marketplace and will work on associated tasks, as outlined below.Among your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and management of the various Amazon Marketplaces, as well as all other active marketplace platforms.
- Performing continual analysis on marketplace specific data, providing insights into product sales trends, sales margin analysis, sales forecasts, stock requirements and forecasting, customer behaviour, and operational performance.
- Creating and maintaining reports on the various aspects of the eCommerce marketplaces, and associated KPIs.
- Using data driven insights to continually optimise content, pricing strategies, promotions, sales focus, available stock and workflow.
- Identifying and keeping up to date with the latest market trends and competitor strategies.
- Monitoring and analysing Third Party seller activities across all marketplaces.
- Identifying and implementing new technologies and software to increase efficiency, productivity, and accuracy e.g. automating processes.
- Working closely with the eCommerce team members, performing focussed product and country level analysis, and identifying specific trends – collaborating with team members to assist in account management and general optimisation
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSTo become an Ecommerce & Marketplace Analyst with Portwest, you will need to have the following:
