EDI Coordinator at UWE, Bristol

January 13, 2024

Job Description

About this role:  Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) are core values of the university. This is a fast-paced and dynamic area of work. The EDI Coordinator will work in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) team, which is part of the People Directorate. The EDI team is a small team with a big remit, managing both the EDI and Health and Wellbeing strategies, as well as having oversight of the Access and Participation Plan.

There are two EDI Coordinators in the EDI team, and both posts are vacant; one is available as a permanent role and the other is fixed term for 12 months, or the earlier return of the post holder.

About you:  Within this role, you will provide complex administrative support to the EDI team. You will be able to manage your own workload and meet a variety of competing deadlines. You will be an excellent communicator, often being the first point of contact for EDI enquires and being responsible for providing timely, accurate and informative signposting to internal and external contacts.

Where is this role based?

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
