We are looking for a permanent full time Education Safeguarding Assistant, to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Brighton and Hove Education Safeguarding Officer. You will assist in the delivery of a high-quality service as part of a multi-agency safeguarding partnership.

We are a workplace that supports flexible working patterns.

This post is offered as term time only (37 hours per week for 45 weeks of the year) or 32 hours per week for 52 weeks of the year if preferred (this is 0.87 FTE).

About the role

As an Education Safeguarding Assistant, you will be responding to Front Door for Families (FDFF) Educational welfare checks and recording them for the multi- agency professionals to RAG and consider.

You will also provide administrative support for the coordination of safeguarding audits; training; the dissemination of safeguarding information to schools and the dissemination of information from the BHSCP to schools and colleges.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
