Are you an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer, Supervisor or Manager with previous leadership skills looking to take a step up to Maintenance Manager? Do you want to head up maintenance for a market leading manufacturer, with the responsibility a senior role brings, sociable working hours, a variety of work and the opportunity to progress within the business?

Within a varied role, your time will be split between implementing a PPM system, developing apprentices and being hands on when required. This Food manufacturer is well known within their industry, supplying retailers such as Morrisons, Costa, and Tesco. They have numerous outlets across the North West and are aiming to drastically increase their presence over the next 5 years. Off the back of recent success, this is a great time to get on board and play an integral role within their management team.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer, Supervisor or Manager with an electrical bias and a background in PLCs,, who is looking to progress to a Maintenance Manager position, with responsibility in the role, autonomy, a competitive salary and sociable hours.
Role:
- Training apprentices, guiding them going forward in their career
- Budgeting, scheduling, and supervising a team of engineers
- Planned and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing machinery
- fault diagnosis on PLC’s based production and control panels
- 45 hours a week
Person:
- Maintenance Engineering background
- Previously come from a FMCG manufacturing background
- Electrical experience(PLC)
- full driving licence
- Previously managed a team of engineers
