Full time – working 37 hours each week Monday to Friday
Salary up to £33,905 per annum including on call and market related allowances.

About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused community within the Estate and Facilities Management team. You will work on maintaining a variety of University buildings at any of our sites but currently you will be based at the Chichester Campus. We operate a “don’t walk by” system to enable issues to be dealt with quickly and effectively.
About you
The appointed postholder will have current knowledge in the maintenance and general upkeep of electrical systems within buildings in an occupied environment. You must be qualified to a minimum of 236 part 1 and 2, 2391 test and inspect and 18th Edition or equivalent with current NICEIC certification. You would be required to be part of an on-call rota every 6 weeks.
About the team
The University of Chichester has a variety of building stock on four campuses/sites (Chichester and Bognor campuses, Stockbridge student village and Fishbourne Halls) which need to be maintained to the best standards of efficiency and safety. You will support other members of the Estates and Facilities Management department maintenance team and work together to ensure that all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with current regulations, reporting any potentially unsafe working methods and complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
