Job description: Our client in London is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated EMEA Content Programme Manager, Agency Education
This is a 9 month onsite position.
Our client has a medium-term project that is running from March till end of December 2024 that needs full-time, event programme management support from an experienced and keen Event Marketer. Although this role is based in the UK, this person will work within the Global Business Marketing team reporting to the Global Programs Marketing Lead (based in New York). In addition, this Event Programme Manager will be working very closely with the Global Programs team in Region as well as the Local Market Agency sales teams to deliver this global programme in the EMEA region.
“Select” is a multi-market Agency Education Programme that is focused on driving education and advocacy across its main Agency customers. The programme is simultaneously executed across 3 regions:
- APAC (Australia & New Zealand / India / Southeast Asia)
- EMEA (UK / DACH / Nordics / Italy / Spain / Poland)
- LATAM (Brazil / Mexico).
We require someone to help with the growing demands / needs within the programme by working collaboratively with others across the 11 global markets with a specific focus in their particular region.
The work will focus on refining, launching and executing this targeted education programme to our client’s largest advertising agencies. This role requires a self-starter, who can work with key, internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program is delivered to the highest standard. More specifically, the preferred candidate will serve as a member of a small tiger team, curating or customizing content for a media agency audience, including narratives, presentations, and other manifestations of thought leadership and industry leading strategy that takes our ideas to the external advertising industry. In addition, this person also needs to help project manage the cross-functional (XFN) team in order to execute and deliver specific project work associated with this overall marketing program. This individual’s value sits with their ability to skillfully plan and manage the tasks needed to produce the deliverables of the program.

- A solid understanding of the digital advertising industry and experience creating marketing communications and go-to-market plans
- Experience in dealing with narratives, programs or activations that help our media agency partners make sense of complicated, technical communications products and media solutions
- Have a strong understanding and empathy for global agency businesses and the people that lead them
- The ability to move fast with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:
- Programme Management – In 6 EMEA markets (UK / DACH / Nordics / Italy / Spain /Poland)
- Close collaboration with the Global Programs Marketing Lead in New York, and fellow Project Manager CWs across the other regions
- Internal Stakeholder Management – Working with and reporting back to key XFN partners: Local Agency Sales teams / Global Programs team / Investment teams
- External Stakeholder Management – participant community across Agency Holding Company/Client groups in region
- Broader Marketing / Comms strategy – leadership in region
- Programme coordination and support in region
- Helping execute the logistics and management of all programme events
- Helping execute external communications and event enrollment for those events
- Helping run all program events (including speakers, content development, event programming, delivery and follow ups, etc.)
- Helping source, manage and schedule all internal speakers and external training vendors, including but not limited to:
- Workshop enrollment and logistics
- Supplier management
- Booking
- Owns project timelines within the context of the overall programme timeline (development, adjustments, alerting to roadblocks/delays) & schedules reviews
- Ensures team is on track to deliver against timeline at all project stages
- Maintains/Leads team status meetings and regular communication of hot sheet, latest feedback, and statuses
- Ensures team has all information, files, or resources needed to execute (e.g. working files, latest decks, recap of stakeholder feedback, etc)
- Budget tracking (open POs, track spend)
- Facilitates asset delivery to market (trafficking, localization, media delivery)
- Ensures operational governance standards are met: Marketing Legal, Comms/PR, MSP/ Agency Ops procedures; Translation / Terminology timing; Launch Calendar; Digital process, etc.
Skills:
- 5+ years experience working directly with advertising, marketing, learning and development, media and/or consulting companies
- Experience synthesizing complex technology products and client needs into simple, impactful communication plans
- Experience communicating across multiple audiences with and without authority over those audiences
- Expert ability to build relationships and work effectively with peers and managers, both internally and externally across a variety of disciplines
- Advanced organization and project management experience
- Exceptional attention to detail when it comes to managing all pillars of event logistics
- Proven success delivering results in a fast-changing business environment
- Experience with G-Suite (especially Doc, Slides & Sheets) and Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Experience also with the following:
- Email marketing platforms – e.g. Mailchimp
- Survey tools – Such as Survey Monkey or equivalent
- Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop experience preferable but not essential
- Experience building operational processes for measuring the impact of a marketing program
- Able to travel
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 – 7+ years of work experience, primarily in Agency, Marketing, Events or Project Management roles/companies
- Experience creating marketing communications and go-to-market plans
- Experience in developing points of view and opinions on critical business/communications issues in the advertising industry
- Strong project/programme management
- Experience working across global time zones with international teams across multiple regions
- Experience working directly with advertising, marketing and/or digital communications agencies
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation experience
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project initiation through completion
