Job description: Band 5 Emergency Department Registered Nurse.Reporting to Senior sister/Charge nurse.Based at Queen Elizabeth Mother Hospital in Margate Kent.Main duties of the jobTo provide effective patient care whilst working as member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needThe post will require the holder to work on other sites within East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, in order to meet service requirements and to ensure that staff maintain and develop their skills.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people. - Previous experience at Band 5 within speciality.
- Understanding of national access targets regarding ED patients
- Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
- Local Nursing Standards
