The successful candidates will be pivotal in assisting the trust in increasing its profile and achieve the current national performance target and will become knowledgeable in operational flow and management.Candidates should ideally have experience of working in an NHS environment and be aware of performance targets in Emergency Care. They should demonstrate good communication and engagement skills and be able to work with a variety of clinical IT systems (after training).Main duties of the jobThe successful candidates will work a full shift rotation pattern and will be responsible for supporting the nurse in charge in ensuring the flow of patients through the Emergency Department (ED) ensuring that targets and national standards are kept at an optimum and the national targets are met.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with fivehospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people.
