About the role
● You will be expected to support the creation and running of project plans, day-to-day working relationships with internal teams and support high-performing brand campaigns across a range of Google products.
● You will oversee the day-to-day Account Management relationship for our biggest client, Google. Key to this role will be developing strong day-to-day client relationships; establishing Account Management processes and best practice principles that ensure efficient delivery of client objectives; managing account teams to effectively respond to clients’ needs
● You will play a key role in delivering business success for our clients. You will be in constant communication with them, building trusted partner status and making a vital contribution to the overall success of our client-agency relationship.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
Client Satisfaction
● Point of contact for clients ensuring client satisfaction is maintained throughout the campaign lifecycle and beyond
● Develop and maintain a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, their products/services, and their marketing/media KPIs
● Support the wider team in delivering an exceptional client experience during every agency interaction
● Ensure defined client expectations are understood by the wider team
● Assist in managing total client satisfaction, identifying any issues or barriers and escalating as necessary
Essential Happiness
● Ensure that any direct report and the wider multi-discipline team feel invested in, engaged with, cared for and motivated to deliver their best work
● Provide timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development and improvement
Work Quality and Innovation
● Engage with clients & wider agency team to ensure all briefs and responses are considered within the wider campaign architecture and working towards a common goal.
● Interrogate work and client deliverables on all campaigns on behalf of the client to ensure they exceed expectations.
● Provide campaign and project management leadership during the campaign lifecycle to ensure on time and on brief delivery of client work
● Foster collaboration with the Practices to ensure best-in-class work and ongoing innovation is delivered across the client business
● Identify potential risks, issues and opportunities, across all briefs and processes escalating to CS leadership where necessary.
● Support daily huddles and weekly client status meeting

Financial Strength and Operational Excellence
● Responsible for client billing process ensuring reconciliations are approved by internal teams and invoicing is complete within agreed internal timescales
● Knowledge and responsibility for the end-to-end invoicing process including managing to budget, reconciliation completion
● Leverage key internal and external stakeholder relationships to assist teams in improving the campaign delivery process
Growth and Diversity of Clients
● Through building your understanding and knowledge of your client’s business, continually look for and make internal recommendations to explore growth opportunities
A bit about yourself
● Proven and demonstrable experience in account manager level in media, advertising or marketing
● Strong communication skills including the desire to learn and advance
● Understanding of OEM brands and a desire to work with and grow their businesses to deliver on their ambitious targets
● Strong organisational skills with a keen ability to prioritise and multitask
● Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines and proven track record in managing client expectations
● Experience in cross-channel media planning, with a preference for brand planning experience
● Understanding of media measurement techniques and the requirements needed to effectively track and report on performance
● Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions
● Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
● Detail-oriented and responsive, deadline-driven with strong quantitative reasoning skills
● Demonstrate thorough understanding of the campaign-level financial management process from estimate to invoicing
● Potential to line manage 1 direct report, supporting their career growth and development within Client Services
● Lead by example while motivating and coaching juniors on the team
● Foster an environment for transparency and open communication
