JOB PURPOSE

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Administrator to join our engineering team at Crumlin.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader your responsibilities will be to Manage the engineering spare parts stores and complete all engineering admin for the engineering department at Crumlin.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with Engineering knowledge and a background in a similar production environment.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to reordering parts to maintain correct stock levels of stock items, Raising POs for Contractor works onsite, working closely with site engineering Maintenance planner to ensure all parts needed for maintenance plans are available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Parts Ordering Using Unilever purchasing systems.
  • Taking Delivery and putting away of parts
  • Managing parts booking out system
  • Ensuring Good housekeeping within stores
  • Book out of stock in SAP.
  • Tracking Department spend.
  • Making up maintenance kits for engineering Jobs
  • Creating new parts numbers in SAP For machinery critical spares
  • Carrying out Cycle counts on stock.
  • Raising new Vendor requests
  • DCIW
  • Completing parts surveys

Skills and Experience

Ideally background of manufacturing in a FMCG / Food related industry. Experience in machine processes and priorities.

Experience and knowledge of purchasing and financial systems

Excellent communication skills are essential.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
