At Bunnell Lammons Engineering our dedicated team transforms challenges into successful projects, servicing clients in commercial, financial, industrial, municipal, construction, and architecture design engineering firms across the southeast.

In this role, you will collaborate with project managers in our environmental and geotechnical departments, conducting inspections and assessments on various sites, such as solid waste construction sites, buildings, roofing systems, HVAC systems, foundations, and geotechnical features. Working alongside site managers, general contractors, owners, and regulators, you’ll conduct necessary inspections or sampling services. Expect to spend roughly half of your time in the field and the remaining half in the office, crafting technical reports and supporting documents like site figures, cost tables, photologs, and appendices.

Your responsibilities also include understanding basic principles of mechanical, structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering, compiling, and organizing data, lifting and climbing ladders, and effectively communicating project progress and challenges with project manager(s). Additionally, you will plan, schedule, and track project timelines to ensure on-schedule progress, coordinate responses to requests for changes in project scope, and communicate report delivery instructions to project managers.

To qualify, you should have an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Construction Sciences or Mechanical Engineering and be willing to obtain industry certifications within a reasonable timeframe. You should possess a basic knowledge of computer systems and software platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. There will be occasional travel for overnight trips throughout the southeastern United States.
