As an Engineering Customer Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to their Customers.Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
- Assisting with network setup and administration tasks
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues
- Documenting customer interactions and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Providing training and guidance to customers on the proper use of software and hardware
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
As an experienced Engineering Technician you will be able to communicate technical advice to Customers and Clients at all levels.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role
- Proven knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in providing technical support to customers
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
