Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Transportation Intern Engineering, we’ll count on you to:

  • Work as member of a planning team on transportation projects, in the development of land use and transportation plans, alternatives analysis, and impact assessments.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data (demographic, socioeconomic, land use) and summarize it in written format and in tables, charts, and maps.
  • Perform research assignments under the direct supervision of a professional.
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Transportation Planning (or a closely related field)
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Self-Starter and dedicated to a quality-based mindset.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years completed toward a degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Preference is given to local candidates.
