Sterling has partnered with a growing, global chemicals manufacturing company on bringing in a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing/CapEx projects within their Joliet location. This is a great opportunity for a senior level manager.Job Overview:
- Manages capital project list and budget.
- Manages the facility expense budget.
- Lead development of plant project management process and coach others in that methodology.
- Identifies plans, executes, and facilitates projects from concept through installation utilizing plant personnel and contractors.
- Ensures all work within area of responsibility is conducted in a safe manner, properly permitted, and otherwise legally compliant.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelors in Engineering related field
- Experience in an engineering management level role
- Experience in CapEx projects
- A chemicals background preferred but not required
Expected salary: $165000 – 185000 per year
