Job description: What you will be doing…

As Engineering Technical Instructor, you will deliver a portfolio of Jet2.com Engineering Training Courses whilst helping to identify, develop and review Training Needs and Technical Courses. This position ensures quality and consistency across the scope of training provided and plays a vital role in the continuous improvement of working practices within Jet2.com Engineering Teams.
What will you do in the role?

  • Support the Engineering Training and Development Manager in the development of the team’s delivery of the necessary engineering portfolio of courses.
  • Deliver Training events in a variety of Technical Aviation related subjects.
  • Identify, develop, and review Training Needs and Technical Courses.
  • Be able to respond to a wide variety of different learning styles and have excellent Instructional and Training delivery styles.
  • Deliver courses at LBA, Bradford Training Centre, Manchester Hangar and at Jet2.com locations throughout Europe.
  • Ensure quality and consistency across the full scope of learning activities.
  • Liaise with Learning & Development team and Stakeholders to ensure consistency of courses being delivered.
  • To undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with Jet2.com’s business requirements.

The successful candidate:

  • Solid skills/experience in one or several of the priority areas for learning activities: EASA Part 147 Type Training, Part 145 Recurrent Training (Continuation, Induction, EWIS, and General Familiarisation Courses, for example)
  • Solid experience of training in an Engineering Aviation Environment.
  • Proven record of excellent people skills, including good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and experience in facilitation of training in EASA Part 147/Part 145/Part M and Part 21 Organisations
