DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As part of this position, your main responsibilities will include maintaining control over work assignments and managing multiple concurrent work activities to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects. You will also need to stay updated on milestone activities and take corrective action when problems arise. Additionally, you will attend project scopings to provide valuable insights and comments regarding potential utility impacts. In the Utility Relocation Management System (URMS), you will create projects and add utility companies to them. It will be your responsibility to coordinate work with utility companies and consultants to ensure seamless integration of efforts. Monitoring the progress of project team members and ensuring the timely completion of tasks will also be part of your role. You will maintain records of team member performance and provide input for performance evaluations of assigned consultant personnel. It will be crucial for you to ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered within the established time frames. Managing your work time efficiently and evaluating utility relocation plans to ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental protection requirements, and department highway occupancy requirements will also be part of your responsibilities. You may need to travel to project sites as needed to identify existing utilities and determine relocation options and construction challenges. This role will provide you with opportunities to develop technical skills and proficiency in various engineering technologies, such as construction inspection and traffic control. Finally, you may be assigned other related duties as needed.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
