They need to be able to plan and deliver high quality teaching on a range of courses within the curriculum area. The English Lecturer needs to have the ability to provide outstanding learning experiences for students to get the best out of their education.Successful English Lecturer will have:

  • Degree Level Qualification in English (2:1 Minimum) or something equivalent
  • Strong subject specialism and experience in educating
  • Have good 1:1 and group mentoring abilities
