Job Purpose:
To provide an all-encompassing administrative support for the project management activities under the guidance of the Estate Strategy Project Coordinator (PC) ensuring a consistent approach is applied to all Estate Strategy projects, compliant with the Estate Strategy Governance Protocols.
Knowledge and Experience:
The post holder must have an understanding of processes and work methodically through them with an ability to work to deadlines and have IT skills to use word, power point and excel with a willingness to learn new IT skills all contributing effectively to delivering the Estate Strategy programme.
The post holder will have NVQ 2/3 in business discipline or equivalent and must have a detailed knowledge and experience of using IT software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint, in order to provide an effective bespoke, omni-competent service.
The postholder must possess communication and interpersonal skills together with excellent oral and written skills to communicate effectively with Police Officers, and Support Staff and outside Contractors, Consultants and agencies.
A knowledge of PCC Standing Orders and Financial Regulations, together with Force Financial Instructions in the procurement of services, will be required.
The ability to work in a team, with a diverse workload is essential for the post holder, together with a flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
