Job description: Description: The Ethical Hacker, also known as a Penetration Tester, is responsible for identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks. They conduct authorized simulated cyber attacks to assess and improve the security posture of organizations.
Responsibilities:
Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on IT systems and networks.
Exploiting security weaknesses to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data and resources.
Analyzing and documenting findings to provide actionable recommendations for security improvements.
Collaborating with IT teams to implement and validate remediation measures.
Staying updated with the latest security threats, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Certification in ethical hacking (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISSP).
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite).
Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security principles.
