Strategy and Operations is a central team in Government Relations (GR) Europe in charge of creating and executing strategies around significant company milestones and challenges and managing operations for the whole of GR Europe.Job Description
– Identify big challenges and opportunities for the company in the short, medium and long term
– Create strategies around them by identifying objectives, tactics and risks
– Execute campaigns for the internal and external coordination of resources to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
– Create internal capacity with other teams to leverage their expertise and roles in a campaign and leadership buy-inQualifications:– General understanding of UK and EEA government policymaking and legislative processes
– Experience working on public policy positions for a technology company, government, NGO, trade association, or political party
– Strategic and big-picture thinking
– Excellent collaborator and project manager
– Ability to solve challenges at pacePreferred Qualifications:
– Interest in Internet public policy issues, including privacy, security, child safety, harmful content, and user wellbeing
