Job description: Samsic UK is recruiting for a permanent part time School Cleaning Supervisor to provide a professional facilities management service based at Hurstpierpoint College.

This position is to work for 5 hours per day from 16:00 pm to 21:00 pm Sunday to Thursday.

As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. By applying to this position, you acknowledge that this is a requirement of the job role.

You will receive £12.57 per hour for this position. The contract is annualized for 52.2 weeks and paid on a monthly basis. Payments are made monthly unless specified otherwise.

The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaners, ensuring that cleaning tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting cleaned areas, managing the work schedule of cleaners, reallocating tasks to cover absences, and ensuring the proper maintenance and safety of cleaning equipment. Additionally, the Cleaning Supervisor will be performing cleaning duties.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service. You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.
