Oxford (hybrid working (negotiable)

Would you like to work for a supportive, historic and progressive college to lead on the creation and delivery of events in Oxford, London and overseas?

Univ is seeking a motivated and organised professional to fill the Events Officer role in our Development, Alumni Relations and Communications Team. It is an exciting time to join the College during our 775th Anniversary year in 2024 and to be a part of our successful fundraising and alumni relations team.

This year we will aim to deliver a mix of both well-established events and brand-new events with lots of room for creativity. You will work alongside our other Events Officer to create, organise and deliver in-person, hybrid and online events in Oxford, to the wider UK and internationally. If you’re looking for a busy role, where each day is varied and challenging, this would be perfect role for you.

The post-holder will need to be a self-starter, highly organised, innovative and able to work on their own initiative. Alongside extensive event management experience, you will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and be able to communicate with a wide range of people with tact and sensitivity.

This post is offered as full-time or part time, with flexible/hybrid working potentially.  We provide a generous holiday allowance, free lunch, private health insurance, an employee assistance programme, among other benefits.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 pm on 23 February 2024.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all candidates.  We particularly encourage applications from minority groups who are under-represented in the College.
