Do you have experience of working in a confidential environment? Are you highly organised with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines? If so, this role could be perfect for you.

You will be a key member of the Student Record Administration Office and will specialise in the areas of examinations and assessment of all taught students.  

You will be expected to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility when carrying out the role, however due to the continually changing environment of the Higher Education sector, these responsibilities will change and you will be expected to adapt to these changes.

As an Exams and In Course Test Co-ordinator you will:

  • co-ordinate the preparation and running of the In Course Tests and other non-standard examination periods
  • manage and co-ordinate the secure collection, processing and printing of all examination papers submitted for the University exam periods
  • provide support during exam sessions to Central Student Administration staff to ensure a consistent and co-ordinated approach to all issues that arise
  • assist with delegating work across the Exams Team and assist with producing the staffing rota for all Central Student Administration staff and Invigilators 

To succeed in this role, you will: 

  • be educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • have experience in working with databases
  • have the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team
  • be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
