We are looking to appoint a highly-motivated, efficient and enthusiastic individual to act as Executive Assistant and Information Officer in the Faculty of Health and Medicine.

This role is rewarding and interesting with a varied portfolio of activities to engage in. You will provide the Executive Dean with a complete, proactive, high-level and confidential executive administrative service in order to support her in her leadership role within the Faculty, as a member of the University’s Senior Management Team and as an active member of numerous high profile external committees. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, strong organisational, interpersonal and IT skills. As a member of the Dean’s Office team, you will also support the effective operational management and good governance of the Faculty and act as the Faculty’s Information Officer.

An ability to work effectively under pressure, both as part of a team and using your own initiative, is essential, as are a courteous and professional manner and an ability to anticipate the support needs of others and take decisions on their behalf when necessary. You must have appropriate experience of effective working with office systems and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
