Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

To be successful in this role you should be highly driven, flexible and be capable of working in a team or independently where required. Ultimately, you should be creative and technically minded, with a strong working knowledge of industry-standard software and a good team player.

Responsibilities
- Create high quality and accurate technical 2D drawings independently, including RCP’s, sections, and elevations.
- Frequently liaise with the lead designer and Design team for regular progression updates.
- Carry out measured surveys independently and assist others when required.
- Support the newer/junior CAD Designers in the team, once trained.
- Ensure that all drawing issue sheets are kept up-to-date at all times.
- Take the necessary actions to ensure that the design elements of the project are coordinated sufficiently with other relevant trades.
- Balance your own workload and support for others effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
- Be forthcoming with ideas and communicate them effectively.
Requirements
- Proficient CAD (AutoCAD) user is essential with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional practice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience taking measured surveys.
- Strong team player and influencer.
- Able to read and evaluate architect’s drawings and identify problems and present potential solutions.
- Competent MS Office skills essential.
- Able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Active trouble shooting.
