The children, staff and Governors of Woodland Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and inspirational EYFS Unit Leader to join our caring and aspirational team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

· Plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning activities.

· Observe and report on pupil performance and development.

· Support literacy and numeracy development.

· Use information and communication technology to support pupils learning.

· Work with children and young people with additional requirements to meet their personal support needs.

· Promote children’s well-being and resilience.

· Contribute to improving attendance.

· Lead an extra-curricular activity.

· Be enthusiastic, creative, innovative and prepared to ‘roll their sleeves up and have a go’.

· Have high expectations of pupils behaviour, behaviours for learning and achievement.

· Be an excellent communicator who is committed to being proactive in working in positive partnership with all stakeholders.
