Job Description

The role holder is as part of the team responsible for the operation of FM services on sites and in buildings managed by Facilities Management, supporting the work of the University

This role will be part of the Logistics Services team and supporting University Departments and FM Services across the Estate. The role holder will, with others be required to transport heavy and or bulky items, which include office furniture/ equipment, IT equipment and other items.  Whilst meeting the University’s Sustainability vision for waste and recycling. 

As part of the team, you will also carry out property checks on University vacant properties ensuring security and safety of these buildings are maintained, as well as working alongside contractors and providing access to buildings for reactive and PPM maintenance.

A requirement to have a clean UK Driving licence is desirable.  

The role holder, alongside existing colleagues, will provide facilities services to buildings and tenants as part of the Facilities Management team. The work supports the academic community and contribute to the smooth running of the buildings and sites.

The role holder frequently works non-standard and unsocial hours; sometimes working without direct supervision across multiple buildings and sites.
