As a Facilities Maintenance and Cleaning Operative at CCP, you will play a vital role in maintaining and cleaning our Wheatridge Court in Abbeydale, Gloucester. Our newest service which we operate on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, provides short-term temporary housing for people who have been granted asylum in the UK. This is a full-time Monday-to-Friday role.
It’s a great time to join a new team in a fantastic building with plenty of onsite parking.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the cleaning schedule is completed and all processes are followed, keeping an eye out for any property defects.
- Utilise your hands-on maintenance/DIY skills to handle emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, and decorating.
- Contribute to creating safe, secure, and homely environments for those who may otherwise be homeless.
- Thrive at building relationships, be it with those you are supporting or with our network of partner agencies.
- Manage a busy caseload with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Seeing multiple people in a typical day and given the flexibility to be creative in how you manage your time.
- Embrace creativity in time management while celebrating successes and bouncing back from challenges.

Pay: £23,100 per year

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
